Foremost, being a member of an electric cooperative makes you a part owner! Cooperatives are accountable to you, the consumer-owners. This arrangement results in more competitive pricing, reliability, and efficiency. 

You have a voice in deciding who is elected to your board of directors, and service is provided by a non-profit organization dedicated to serving you in an ethical manner.

By being a member of AECI you are also entitled to capital credits as they are distributed.  Contact AECI to learn more about capital credits.
