Update for True North Subscribers and Off-Peak Heating Members – October 5th

True North Broadband and Telephone Outage Restoration Update for Subscribers, Friday, October 5, 2018:

Thank you to all of our True North subscribers for your patience as Arrowhead Cooperative crews have worked restore electric and fiber service across the Cook County.

  • If you have True North phone service, your battery backup will likely have lost its charge causing the battery alarm to sound or “beep”.  This alarm can be silenced by pressing the top button on the front of the battery labeled “Alarm Silence”.
  • Once electric power service has been restored please allow approximately 10 minutes for the equipment to reboot. If your internet and/or phone services are not restored after this, please contact our office at 218-663-9030 or 877-602-7769.  If your service doesn’t restore after your power is back on, it may be possible that there is fiber damage at your property or near you.
  • Outage crews are continuing electric power restorations. True North subscribers can receive technical support at the number below.  Please keep in mind that as power restoration continues our fiber dispatch crews will respond to True North subscribers as quickly as they are able.

Notice to Arrowhead Electric Thermal Storage (ETS) Off-peak Heating Participants, Friday, October 5, 2018:

For The remainder of Friday October 5, 2018, Arrowhead members who are enrolled and participating in our off-peak ETS programs please take note that all connected storage space heating systems and storage water heating systems will be allowed to freely charge until 7 am on Saturday October 6, 2018.

Systems will be able to charge up with as much heat energy as they can take during this period.  For members who experience overly warm conditions due to this free charging period, please contact us at the number below – your system may need to need to have settings adjusted temporarily or there is a possibility that we can help identify a potential maintenance issue.
